Edwin Martinez, who represents Hario in the US, also is a third-generation coffee farmer from Guatemala. During our field trip up to Hario's US headquarters, he spoke with us about a coffee processing experiment that he undertook on behalf of some of his roasting clients.

In this video, he describes the experiment, talks about how processing effects taste and describes different methods used by plantations to prepare green bean coffee.

During our visit to Hario USA headquarters, their US Rep, Edwin Martinez, spoke with us about coffee roasts and agriculture.

Edwin is a third generation coffee farmer from Guatemala and has a great perspective on that part of the coffee industry. In this video, he addresses different roast trends by region, shares with us how coffee growers respond to industry and economic pressures and talks about how elevation impacts coffee flavor.
